Parkinson's Lending Library
If you ever have the chance to visit the PGO office, you will notice that we have a fantastic assortment of resources for Parkinson’s disease. One of our greatest hidden features is our PD Lending Library. Over the years, people have donated books related to Parkinson’s disease in hopes that the information will be a useful tool to the next person seeking help and support.
These books are found on a floating shelf and are available to anyone who would like to learn more about PD. No rush on returning them, keep them as long as you need!
No appointment is necessary to select a book, but one-on-one assistance is available on Wednesdays from 10 AM-2 PM to help you with any questions you may have.
Not only does the PGO office have books, we also have free CDs and DVDs related to physical activity and Parkinson’s disease that are available.
Stop on by and visit us at the Bodysmith Studio, 1136 E. St. Louis St. in Springfield (next to Steak N’ Shake). Better book it over here!
